ReplyDeleteIt sure does seem that way! Their birthday's make me feel older too. We were talking in the car on the way to school how he's going to be 14 next and it freaked us both out! Thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephanie! He's not one for the icing on the cakes and he won't eat something that I didn't make. He's pretty demanding ;)
ReplyDeleteOh lord! Two of them to boot! Best of luck my friend :)
ReplyDeleteI know, right! Oh, that pie sounds perfect for a birthday!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tina! I don't even want to think about him dating! He's not allowed to leave the house ;)

ReplyDeleteHow could you ever say no? My husband always asks for pie too. Black Bottom Banana Cream Pie.
ReplyDeleteDee....how could he be 13? He was just born!!! (Time flies so fast, doesn't it? I think I feel my age more on my kids birthdays than my own!). Having an October birthday, I've opted for pumpkin pie over cake in the past as well! GREAT choice! It looks awesome....and such a perfect crust!
ReplyDeleteYour son and I were on the same page! Your pie looks divine! :)
ReplyDeleteHe was a beautiful baby and is such a handsome young man! Happy Birthday to your little man!
Happy birthday to your son! He does have a discerning palate to be requesting something out of the standard cake. After seeing that slice, I can now understand why he chose it.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he is going to be a heart breaker, so you better gear up for when he starts dating! Have a great day.
